Chutneys:

This was one of the most highly recommended restaurants by several folks and it did not let us down. On a Saturday afternoon getting a table was challenging. 30 people in front of us, everybody thinking that the person helping with the seating was being unfair to them, Anushka whining that she wants to go the McDonalds and the general chaos brought our enthusiasm down. But as soon as we were seated about 25 minutes later it changed. The service was great and so was the food. He got the “Chutney’s” on the table while we were waiting for our food and in fact we ended up eating one bowl of the coconut chutney w/o food. It was just amazing. All the courses, Idli, Ghee roast Dosa, Uthapam’s, Sambar, Coffee were great.
Finally feels like being in South India with the taste of real south Indian food coming back. Its like enjoying (getting used to) Mexican mangoes when you are away from Alphonso’s for years. The taste buds do get immune :)
